I'm kinda curious what the rules are regarding time zones, because it became an issue for me this week. I submitted my photo for the Magazine Cover challenge right at the deadline, which turned out to be 9pm PST for me, 3 hours before June 11th. This caught me off guard, because I thought I had 3 more hours. Regardless, I got my submission in on time, and then was told what the challenge was for this week, self-portraits.
Needless to say, I was really excited about this challenge, and within an hour and a half I had taken the picture I wanted to submit. Technically, it was not June 11th yet when the picture was taken, but I took the picture after I found out what the challenge was from the website. So when I submitted the picture I had to say it was taken on June 11th even though in my time zone it was 90 minutes early. I hope this isn't going to be an issue for disqualification, because the picture I took is one of if not the picture I like most of all the pictures I have ever taken.
Anyone know? I would really hate to disqualified, I love this picture.
