Shecoya (my apologies for mistyping your name previously),
I'm so glad you took my postings in the spirit intended and that some elements may have been useful.
It sounds to me that you are not at all the kind of person to rush in blindly, full of optimism and enthusiasm but empty of understanding.
For that reason I'm confident you'll be able to find the right volunteer position and will also have a truly wonderful set of experiences.
