Won't have to watch it much longer. Alias has been cancelled so this is the final season. I still watch it on occasion, but my guilty pleasure is Lost. It is killing me to have to wait until January for the next episode.

OK...what were those symbols on the counter when it got to Zero�they look like Hieroglyphics. I tried searching the web but could only find two of the symbols�anyone know what they mean?!?! Also that guy is definitely an �Other�

SPOILER FROM TONIGHTS EPISODE...

Did anybody notice the soldier talking to Sayid before they let him go was Kate's dad?

All I saw from the symbols where the two on the right which looked like a bird and a rocket.

Hey!

You're all ruining Season 2 for us poor Aussies, who are only up to like episode 3. TV shows always reach us a LOT later than in the Northern Hemisphere! So with my friends in the US, i hate it when they talk about shows like LOST and 24. I just end up hanging up the phone and close all communications with them!

I'm definitely leaving this discussion before i read too much!

Nice catch I did no notice that, I also read on another lost thread that when kate went to see her dad/step dad at the army place Sayid was on tv in the background.... (thats how they linked them two together)

The whole torture seen was hmm interesting cause they have to find out who this guy is. What if he is lying and the look he gave Sayid at the end of it was creepy. Makes me think he was lying.

While I don't know precisely what the symbols were I believe they are all the symbols that were on the tape and hatches. I think the 'third' one will be found at the cave the new guy said he was staying in.

I noticed that photo was of Kate also...I was like "oh my, that's Kate" -- heh...

Not sure what those symbols where...

The guy is definately an "other" -- I really dislike Jack now...John is right...if Jack is building an army, they must be at war, stuff has to be done when you're at war, so Sayid should have been allowed to interrogate him -- although it seemed to me as though he was just taking out some anger towards the end there...he should have taken a break...

I'm afraid that when they open that door to the armory again, the 'other' will have escaped.

I can't remember that one girl's name (with the newborn, Clair maybe) -- she remembers stuff next week from her abduction, I wonder what's inside of that building they find -- that looks exciting.

I wonder if it will be next week. They did not say next week on lost... You know how they like to make you wait. That is why 24 is my favorite show, BACK TO BACK!

I know, I hate that when they say "next on lost" and not "next week on lost" -- there are way too many weeks where it's not on.

D'OH!
I just looked, I was thinking the next episode of lost was 2 hours because my DVR is set to record Lost for 2 hours next week. Well I just looked it up and next week they are playing the pilot again (hence 2 hours). Who knows when the next new episode will be :(

they only show 2 new episodes then they show repeats. I wonder how many viewers they have "LOST" because of this???

Next week is a rerun; it will be the Pilot...the first episode. They take too many breaks. My other shows are being halted for the next two weeks due to the Olympics. So right now I'll I have is 24...I hope that is new this next week.

Okay, I'm not going to read this thread until I find out something first. We're on episode 2 season 2 (the one where they wash up back on the Island and we see 'the others' for the first time) - That's where the episode stops.

So, what episode is everyone else on?

LOL um should I tell him they are not "the others" that they see? Well in a way they are... but not "the others" that he is thinking... Should I tell him or not?
