i have 60 votes and one comment. LOL. That makes my comment ratio 1.67%. Wooohooo!!!

I wonder if that is worth some kind of special award this week?

Other people seeing similarly low levels of commentary?

3 out of 57. Maybe people commented themselves out last week with 300+ submissions :-)

Last week I got the lowest number of comments for any of my pictures: 5. Today I feel better because in the first morning I have 9 comments.

I have a rather low number of comments too. (2 for 69 votes) But this is probably my fault. My subject, though well composed and in good focus, does not make for a show-stopping image... nothing much to comment on! (seems like I have had this problem lately)

Still, the ratio for everyone does seem a bit on the low side.

And I'm not saying anything about my score. I just hoped that my shiny new Minolta would give me a better score than my crappy old camera but oh no. <sob>

Low Score for a picture that I personally think is well taken, but with a lousy title.(confuses people a lot)
Only 3 comments.
Guess I should learn a couple of things in the area of what not to do.

Man, that hurts doesn't it. Same story here. With only one or two exceptions, my scores with my "little" camera were much better than with my new one. I just explain it away by saying that I am still "learning" the new one.

(This comment was actually from karmat, didn't realize the default was set to hubby nards656 - sorry!)

Well my scrappy, scratched and battered HP C20 is doing better than the average I've been able to eek out of my G2 in the past year, so there
is no accounting for camera quality :)

Probably because you're not too worried about playing the settings on the camera rather than just getting a nice photo, i.e. interesting perspective or composition :)
