In Turkey there are three photography magazines, one of them Genis Aci (Wide Angle in turkish) held a contest type thing for young photographers under 35. The results were announced a few weeks ago. 8 photographers were selected for the main feature, 9 were selected as "The ones who caught our attention". Well I got into that 9 as "The Youngest entrant" (The youngest after me is 8 years older than me or something).
I am currently in a gallery in Istanbul and in their special issue for the contest Genc Soluklar III. Don't really look at the way I'm writing, I'm actually all jittery with joy inside. You can't imagine how I was hopping when I learned this.
I'll post the pictures from the gallery and the scans from the magazine when my hard drive arrives.
