Hey Slippy. You're a really funny guy and I admire how funny you must feel. My membership is to expire on the 30th of Sept and I had already paid for a full year's renewal. Well, I was looking how your funniness has hijacked this website and then thought of the $25 I just paid for another year's membership. Holy crap, that was hilarious. ROFLMAO. Anyhow.....hehehe...I thought I can't handle this much laughter and withdrew my membership. I'm just gonna go find me a site that does photography and all that boring stuff. You've provided all of us with a great number of laughs and I'm sure the admins are appreciative of the fact that there will be one less member to clog up the server.

I'll check back in and see what wonderful new virus you have planned to undermine the integrity of this site. Did I mention that your funny?? ROFLMAO.

from what I hear ivo isnt the only one leaving...
I´m not sure what I myself am gonna do but I´m on a strike until I decide if I´ll stay or not...

People leave communities all the time about all sorts of issues. I can think of one member who has thrown his toys out of the pram several times and has left and returned more times than I can shake a stick at.

Do what you feel you must but... the site will continue regardless.

There are often changes within various communities that I participate in - some of which i liek and others which I totally do not. I do my best to discourage the ones that I don't like but I accept that I'm not always going to be in the majority opinion all the time.

Either I stay and accept that things change, not always in ways that I will appreciate, or I leave and find somewhere else that I like better.

No big deal.

Ivo, if you feel that this is the issue that you wish to leave over, all power to you. I wonder though if you're actually cutting off your nose to spite your face and will find that you lose more than you gain by leaving.

I've decided that I'm going to add to my Favourites list anyone who threats to (or actually does) leave the site in a huff over something as daft as this.

That way, if you do then you're just cynically buying a place on my Favourites list and doing just what has affronted you so much.

This threatening to leave thing kinda reminds me of when a lot of celebrities threatened to leave if Bush was elected. Funny that the large majority of them are still living and working in the US... wonder if that will happen in this case...

Well, there's no doubt I have total control over the both of you. I think you should at least stick around until "The Draws" happen and wait to see what happens next. You may be pretty surprised. You've dug yourselves in pretty deep, which I didn't mean to happen, so you may look pretty foolish.

Anyone ever taken a joke to far or too seriously before?

That is what is happening here. People are getting upset over the whole thing on both sides. Slurppy boy got what he wanted, over 100 people have fav'd him, he will hold his drawing and that will be the end of it. But as long as people keep posting to this thread more people will continue to add him, running the risk of taking Joey off the fav's list.

Slip, you're a nice guy but don't you think this has gone far enough? I didn't help yesterday with my attempt to lighten it up but hey, enough is enough, you got what you wanted, over 100 people now fav you, why wait until the 8th to draw? You have enough now, do it now and end all this, kay?
