If you really want input and comments, I would suggest either putting simply a link to these full size photos, or reducing the size of them greatly. I have roadrunner, and I still quit waiting for them all to show up. It was just taking too long.
Just a suggestion. |

First those are WAYYYY big...
I like number 2, but would crop some off the top....

I'm LOVING #2! I think that the whole picture has a lot of range and as a whole makes a great visual. I wouldn't edit it at all.

| I like #2, and would like just the top part of #11, cropping out that branch and changing to a landscape orientation. Good luck with the contest! Let us know which one you choose. |

#2 is by far the best of these IMO. #7 is appealing, wiht luminous post-processing, but the large, OOF branch on the right kills it.

Honestly now... you could have picked some uglier images just to make it easier on us!!! Holy cow! I don't envy you in the decision making process.
I think, for me, the choice would be between 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 11. That doesn't narrow it down very much!
But of those, I think I like 4, 5 and 11 the most.

| It's so hard to decide...2 or 5 for the photo contest in my opinion ..my personal favorites are 7 and 11..great work. |

Sorry about posting the full sized in thread, on the other forums I frequent thats the prefered method. Of course this helps with the server load a bit too :) I just managed to get the topic updated before the site went down to calculate results (but lost my reply in the process)
Its hard deciding on just one, took days to get it down to 10 -- and even then a couple extra's snuck in at the last moment.
Next time I'll post a bunch of the really ugly ones in there too to make it easier on you dwterry :) |

I still love the water falls so 11 and 12 would be my first choice then I think it was 6, 3, and 2.

well looks like #2 has edged out the others when you add up all the votes from around the internet so looks like it is 'the one'
The mountain pics were from Kananaskis in Alberta Canada (just south of Banff and less busy) |

Hey, can never be too harsh -- I can't stand it when people beat around the bush.
I'll agree 7-8 are over processed, way overprocessed (was a new technique I am still trying to get a handle on how far to push it -- on some things it can almost create a cartoon effect, others it ruins a perfectly good shot it seems), the more I look at them the less I like them.
Just actually picked up the top 5 from the lab this evening, numbers 2,4,6,11 and 12 (slight edit -- all the brown spots on the leaves cloned out). Looking at them in print I think #2 will be 'the one'.
