| Since currently there is an active debate of proposed rule changes, my suggestion is to make only paying members eligible to vote on a poll, once the poll criteria have been defined. I don't see why users who never or seldom participate in challenge submissions should be eligible to determine how this site should be run. Just consider it another benefit of paid membership! |

I have to agree but at the same time there is enough animosity around here these days. Last thing we need is a registered users revolt. :)

But there are those who do compete in most open challenges, shouldn't our votes count to?
I understand not wanting someone who never participates to have a say in things but there are those of us who do participate regularly.
Just a thought, maybe the poll could be open to only those who particiapted in at least two challenges in the past month. I would have said participated in the current challenge, but the past week was super busy for me and I didn't have time for the liquid challenge, and I know others run into that problem too, but do participate on a regular basis. |

| How about make people eligible to vote in a poll who are either a paid member and/or have participated in at least x challenges (say 5-10)? I am really not terribly interested in the opinions of people who never submit nor of those who are fairly new here and still feel overwhelmed by the newness of the site, from their perspective, and hence resistant to further changes. |

Actually I think there are paid members who aren't all that active. It should take into consideration both the members and the registered users who actually participate. |
