Hey all... who's up for an East Coast get together... a day of photographing the Big Apple... having lunch... and getting to know other members of DPC personally! I thought it might be fun after Kavita's London one. New York City has so much to offer in terms of photography, and it's pretty easy to get to from almost anywhere, of course I'm not expecting west coasters to jump on a plane for a day, but there are trains from here to Philly, DC, and many other places... Not to mention *hint hint* some free parking in front of my building!!

and of course anyone else who wants to come... these are just some people I think are closer? (maybe not though) Hey I want to meet people... and what a fun way to do it! Not only does NYC offer great things to photograph, but it also offers awesome food (pizza!!) interesting people, awesome museums, thousands of great free galleries etc. I really think it would be an awesome day! | Depends on how soon for me...I got a trip to South Carolina in the near future, my pockets might be a little empty after that...although Pittsburgh is could work for me...HINT! HINT! |

Whats there to shoot in Pittsburgh ;-) Well we'll work on a date... but I think the only money it will cost you would be for gas and food... I'm not sure how long the drive is though.... I hope you get to join us!

Pittsburgh is the second most used city on the east coast for movies. It has a lot to photograph, and it isn't as overly photographed as NYC. Pittsburgh has Three Rivers, the Alleghney Mountains, Fort Pitt, Pittsburgh Zoo, and that is only a few things that Pittsburgh has to offer. Don't forget the Carnegie and also the Andy Warhol Museum are in Pittsburgh.

| I'm not sure why I am suggesting Pittsburgh other than I can afford a trip to Pittsburgh anytime but with my trip to South Carolina coming up there is no way I could do NYC til fall once my little boy is back in school. So if it is going to be this month nope no way won't be there. |

So Mavrik, Frisca, Satellite Speck and RiderGal... for sometime in June... we'll have to see who else answers this over the next day or so. I'm so sorry you won't be able to come OneSweetSin... but I'm guessing we could do another one sometime in the fall?! I am not available for the last weekend of June (I'll be back home in iowa for a friends wedding) otherwise I'm pretty free... Go ahead and put dates :-)

So... it's coming up really quickly... but I'm looking at the weekend of the 13th to the 15th. So now... Saturday or Sunday? Who? What? When? Where? Why? How? It looks like the Saturday the 21st or Sunday the 22nd might work as well. LMK!

Well, I couldn't make the London one due to work - but I am going to be in NY on those dates (this is a slightly mad feeling) - the 13th-16th that is. Was supposed to be working on Sat 14th, but that gig's been postponed now, so might (other half's plans permitting) be around.

weekends of the 13th and 20th are out for me (vacation to brazil) otherwise i'd have loved to have participated.
