Recent ramblings about the Branch challenge have spawned this. Two camps have formed: The "Tree Branches Suck" camp, and the "Anything Else Sucks" camp. Threats have been thrown back and forth between the two camps about voting the other camp low.
Here's the rough math on the Branch challenge:
Shots involving tree branches = about 329, or 76%.
Shots not involving tree branches = about 104, or 24%.
I'm a scientist, so don't try to refute my math or I will taunt you until you cry like a little baby girl who's brother has just taken a can of gasoline and a blowtorch to her Barbie collection.
So 24% of you are claiming to be so special because you're so OOTB? 24% is barely a minority. Tree branches rule you! Bow to the tree branches!

lol ... not in this challenge ... haven't read any threads concerning it ...
... but this is a funny post :)
and yes, i pretty much have set up camp inside the box ... it's where most of the ribbons usually hide

| Thanks for making me laugh! I'm only 25% of the way through voting (I'm not in this one), and it's getting kind of tough to keep looking at any kind of branch! That said, there are some great pictures in there - surely one is yours? |

I would like to demand that those of us (0.003%) true OOTB thinkers be given special treatment during voting.
My suggestion:
Every vote no matter what it is. Gets counted as a 10.
Why ? Because we are of course better then everyone else.

| My idea for this challenge involved two different types of branches, I didn't enter so I can say what they were, I thought of using a tree branch and letting my two kitty's that look so much alike play or hang from the branch ( not by their necks, for anyone who is thinking this)or some relatives of mine who look very much alike and giving it a title like " From the Same Branch of the Family Tree" or maybe something more creative. Anyway, I didn't have time to work it out. So I don't know which camp my photo would have landed in. I haven't got to look at the branch entries yet, so I don't know if anyone had a similar idea. |

Your first shot would fall in the Branch camp, the second in the non-branch camp. I saw at least 15 twin kitten hanging from branch shots in this challenge.

Ah well, I have to admit, in order to get my numbers I rifled through all the entries and voted all 10's for one camp, and all 1's for the other camp. Made it easy to tally. Don't worry, I'll go back and adjust with real votes!
