I use card reader - copy and paste.

I guess I'm the only one who uses the built in Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard. It is easy, I just type in the name of the pictures (as in 2005 Sep 07) and it automatically makes the folder with that name and renames all the pics going in with that beginning. Works great, keeps everything organized...
