To all those who offered advice in my choice between the Olympus C-2100 and the C-730, I'd like to say a big thank you :)
I have decided to get my C-2100 repaired. With a 10x zoom I feel the image stabilizer is too important to give up. |

no prob. . ive actually started looking at buying a warranteed refurbished 2100uz.. seeing them on the net for about $450. : )

| I read on another site that there's a big demand for 2nd hand C-2100s. I wonder if that's why they were so keen to get their hands on mine. |

Yes Gina, that´s the way it is here in Sweden. It´s very hard to find a 2nd hand one. And you will have to pay about $400 to get it. I know you will repair yours and that was a very good decision. |

From what my local camera store friends were telling me the Olympus reps at the booth at some show in NYC today were actually being begged for more C-2100s
