Here are two of my entries.

I received a lot of great comments with helpful suggestions.

I have tried to apply the suggestions to improve the pics.

What do you think? Give it to me straight I can take it. (I have entered challenges here so my skin is quite thick by now).

Much better. And it gives you something to think about when you're composing/processing future shots.

the after on your dairy really would have cranked up your score with me - your splash was lost to the bg. in the before.

You know... this is exactly what I love about this site... not the fact that it is weekly competitions, but more so a place where we alike get to share our ideas and suggestions. It is nice to see that you are taking comments seriously and then producing better results. I know for myself that since I've joined dpc my photographic skill has improved greatly and my averages on my challenge entries have increased each and every time. I love how all of the photographers on here (from amateur to professional) give their honest feedback based on all of their different experiences in photography. One thing I have noticed though is that a picture definately is worth a thousand words... some people love my shots and others don't... so I've learned not to take all comments to heart and understand that I have a particular photographic style and not everyone will like.
Congrats on your improved shots (post editing)... its just nice to see other's are getting the full amount of worth out of this site!
