This should make for a lot of images:
Washington Crossing Historic Park Harvest Day.
October 16, 2005 Sunday
10:00 am to 4:00 pm - Harvest Day
Join us for a historic look at autumn customs, traditions, and frolics as Washington Crossing Historic Park presents their annual harvest festival. Experience the 1770’s and 1830’s as you enjoy:
*the scents of a fall meal cooking on an open hearth
*historic craft demonstrations, music, and trades
*the bounty of a colonial kitchen garden and how the harvest was preserved
*turn the crank on the cider press, and visit the historic McKonkey Ferry Inn/Tavern
*jump in a hay pile, play old-fashioned kids games, try your hand at a historic craft & more...
ADMISSION IS CHARGED

Our meeting place will be the New Hope Ivyland railroad station located at...
New Hope & Ivyland Railroad
32 West Bridge Street, New Hope, PA
Phone: 215-862-2332
Out meetup time will be between 8-8:30am. Once 8:30 rolls around, we will be rolling out. There is ample metered parking, $5 will cover enough time for our time in New Hope before we leave for Washingtons Crossing.
I'm not really sure where we can have a "late" meetup point, since we'll be walking around and basically winging it. So if you think you can't make the startup time, please send me a PM and Ill give you my cell phone number.

I'll be leaving my house (near DC) around 5AM to get there in time. If anyone is between Baltimore and New Hope and wants to catch a ride, let me know...

A bump here and there is fine but this makes 26 bumps by you alone. I think that'll suffice for now. :) |
