i've only met one... that i know of. i live in a really small town, their is a "photography club" but if you go with digital... your better off going swimming with your camera. one of my best friends dad's got me started on dpc, to him,wow, its hard to think with out him, i'd have no update button, (sigh). Unfortunatly, he has never submitted a photo, and browses through the enteries silently. we need an Ontario gtg, well, try doing a search in ontario, lol, you'll see me and only me : ^ (

Hehehe....the only DPCer's I've met are my ex wife and her husband, who oddly enough used to be our neighbour!! :) Serious!

I'd also be up for something more northern in the UK... london isn't just a trivial drive down from edinburgh, and i could buy a cheap lens or two for the price of the petrol :(

I work with JoelHSmith, so I see his mug all the time.
I met these folks during the Chicago GTG last July. If I forgot anybody, I apologize. We got split into a couple groups, so there were only a few that I had an opportunity to know.

That's pretty much my list, too (obviously I've met myself!), with the addition of Prof_Fate, OneSweetSin, Nullix, and my neighbor whobee, who introduced me to this fine establishment in the first place.

I've met Gugi and two others who never submit or post. Birkin lives in the neighborhood, but haven't met him yet.
Gugi is even more fun and wonderful in real life than here at dpc!
In just 18 short days, I'll be meeting Manic, Chiqui, RiponLady, RiponLady's husband (PJ something), and their son legalbeagle at the London GTG. I'm sure there will be others, too. Can't wait! |
