I've been to two GTGs so far, and both were about 2.5 to 3 hours drive from our home, in opposite directions. They were both very fun and the people were just great. So far I've met christie3, Ronce, Wendelika, ace flyman, ourwebstop, Zoomdak, charliebaker, NovaTiger, madhatter, and jeff2208.
I'm already looking forward to the next one.

everyone I met at the DC GTG was a serial killer =)
Okay not everyone.. Vince and I had a great time meeting all the folks who came to DC and everyone was totally cool. If there is a GTG near you go it is well worth the time.

I flew to the DC GTG from Atlanta and that's the only one I've been to so far. I met all these fine folks there, plus or minus a few. :-)
I'm looking forward to this weekends Atlanta GTG where I'm hoping to meet a few more. :-)

Went on 3 meeting and met many great DPCers. Can't wait to do it again.

have had my chances, haven't made it out to a GTG yet. (Toronto area).
but who knows? maybe I have met some DPCers, and don't know it yet. (nor they).

Went to the DC Notacon and met (some only briefly, but I'll count 'em anyway!):
Blemt, ClubJuggle, Dahkota, Di53, Frisca, Jenesis, Jmlelii, Jpochard, JPR, KaDi, Khdoss, Langdon, Mcrochip, Muckpond, Nikolai1024, Rich, Scalvert, Skiprow, TLL061, VinceDoss.
I highly recommend attending a GTG if you are able. It was a LOT of fun and I learned a LOT. :-)

Yeah sure, if you want photos of trees. Or, we can all take pictures of my fabulous dirt. I could take you out on the river to shoot some wildlife, but my boat is limited to something like 8 people.
Actually, I've been thinking about where we might go for the next one. I'll PM you soon.

hmmm, I've met nards656 (I'm married to him, so that probably doesn't count).
Outside of family members that also happen to be registered here,just indigo997. I think I may have met lexusone before he signed up to dpc, but I'm not sure. |

Well, I've met toocool, because, well, we've been best friends for about 25 yrs or so. And early this summer I got to meet superdave909 when my moniter blew and he was kind enough to give me an extra he had :-).
(but don't worry MI people, I'm still working on arranging our gtg!)

I would really like a NYC GTG -- I'm currently here in NYC since Aug 17 and returning to Toronto on Wed. 31st. I'm planning to return next year maybe around mid-May.
I've been seeing different places and so far I have 36 CDs of photos to take home.
BTW I am in Queens and take the trains to Manhattan.
I'd really wanna come back so if a GTG is in the planning, I would have to re-sched my trip to join the group.

I reckon we could get a few together since P2JVR and I are in Yorkshire and BobsterLobster is often in the area. Also if anyone from overseas wants to visit, you are very welcome to come and stay.
Anyone one interested in a Yorkshire w/e?
We could put up at least 8/10 people at our house and there are some great places around here. Also the National Photographic museum is in Bradford if anyone is interested in that sort of thing.

I'm not entirely sure...
I've done 5 London GTGs but I've never kept a list or counted and I'm too senile to remember - I'll see if I can pull out some of the older GTG threads...
I've met probably 150-200 from Fodors Travel Talk over the last 6+ years but not nearly as many from DPC - probably somewhere around 25? Dunno though...
