I have been meaning to mention this for a while, but I keep forgetting to do it...

On the challenge_vote_list page, I run into some occasional issues. After I vote and go back to comment, I used the little icon to bring up the image and comment box. If I open the challenge_vote_list page and click on one of these icons before the page fully loads, my menu at the top never loads. After I comment, I have to type in the URL to get back to the main page... Would it be possible to load the menu first on this page?

Also, when I am at school and the connecion is less than fast, the menu always loads last. So while the 250+ thumnails are loading, I have to wait and then the menu will appear. IF the menu loaded first it would be VERY helpful!

The dpchallenge logo at the top will always take you back to the main page, assuming that's where you want to go!

Or you can press back in your browser or 'backspace' on your keyboard :P

But you're right, loading the menu first would make sense.

I find that sometimes if I press the Escape key, the browser will stop downloading images but display the menus, as if the menu has been downloaded but won't show up until the page is complete.

That's what I do too. AOL has a STOP (page loading) button and If something is taking too long, or I accidently went to the wrong place, then I don't have to wait for everything to load before I can escape. The Escape button also does this same thing, as you mentioned.
