| Heh. Do you guys realize how difficult it is to fake your age on dpc? Not that hard. :-p If some wicked soul already has signed up on dpc just to piss off people, saying you're a 13 year old girl instead of the 22 year old man just increases the effect. As we have seen. ;) |

Thats absolutely the most ridiculous thing i have every heard. You want to kick outpeople like Joey and Anna H because they are "kids" and not "actual photographers". Hey i get stupid comments from people over 50, lets kick out all the older people because they aren't actual photographers either!
Where the hell is a cheap thrill in commenting on photography anyways? Oh yeah baybee! Bit of a home truth for you guys, a lot of 13 y/o get thier cheap thrills smoking pot and performing oral sex for college guys. Thank goodness some of them are interested enough in expanding thier minds to be hanging out on a site like this. But hell, why would they want to because once again, the older generation has belittled any attempts they have made to intergrate because of thier own sour grapes.
They are 13 for @%# sake. Maybe they aren't to eloquent and they might not have grasped ettiquette yet, but cut them some slack!
edit to correct spelling which is 100x worse when im pissed.

hmm I had a very nice comment from that same 13years old. I do agree its young, but i was playing with a camera at that age...
I do want to see what she comes up with.

| I have 2 really hateful comments (not meant as constructive criticism) that are from one girl 13 yo, and one 14 yo. Neither have any photos in their portfolios. Its my guess they just registered to drive scores down and agitate. I doubt they will ever be active members here. Just trolling for reactions. |

Actually, they both have entries in Dairy. Their comments weren't very nice, but they're just two opinions and probably balanced out by opposing views. Not everyone has tact. |

I'm getting comments from confused people. Which I find awesome because that was exactly the intention, or I'd otherwise just take a photo of a glass of milk. And that would have been dull.

oh yeah, flipping through the shots again... anyone else notice that there are probably a few "willing" runner up for the brown ribbon? I count 3 possible entries to that aspect...

| I was under the impression when I first arrived that you had to be a member to vote, so I never voted til I joined. But I was wrong. If you had to become a member, there may not be as many votes, but more people may become members to vote and that may discourage any hanky panky. Really don't know if this would be any better, haven't really thought it thru, thought I would just throw it out there and let you guys chew on it. |

As I've already stated in this thread, shot my picture in REALLY bad rush and it has some obvious flaws simply because I couldn't take enough shots on the subject. Wee. Makes me want to make it as perfect as I can with the Shoes challenge. Thank you my current number one fan! :) |

That brown thing is hard for me. There was a recent thread about a very good photographer who has entered completely irrelevant, but beautiful, images in two challenges. It appears that there is a language barrier, and I'm afraid they might not understand what's going on. Then, there is another person who was deliberately entering DMC images and hostile comments, in a blatant effort to get his profile removed from sight. I'm trying to keep these things in mind when voting, but it's quite a dilemna.

Ok ok....I really didn't mean to piss anyone off. I agree that Joey and Anna are great photographers. I totally agree but they are photographers who enter into the challenges. I was very upset this morning when I saw the comment. What is "too creative"?? Could someone explain that to me. And as for the "sour grapes" comment, I'm looking for "constructive critizism". I don't expect to get 10's on everything I enter and I don't expect to win either. Look by no means am I a great photographer, I'm working on that. This site it great and anyone can learn from it.

I got 15 comments, one of them mentions, that my pic is this person's pick for the ribbon!
It's far from that, but I really feel good about my shot!
not all of the comments are "good" ones, but I'd say 13 of the 15 state that it's very creative! It makes this entry very special for me, as I believe I achieved the "emmotional feeling" I was trying to show. |

| My image is around a 4.81 without new votes in the past few hours. Oh well! I really liked my shot. Yes, there were things that could have been better, but some were out of my control (I really need a better camera, but as I'm still in college and just married a med student, I don't foresee any new camera in the near future!). I still like it. :) |
