I went to the local county fair in Altamont NY a few days ago. Although I mostly do sports, I have never even considered motorcross. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Don't be afraid to be critical. I've never done motorcross and I want to improve! Thank you!

Those are awesome shots Brian! The first one seems a little soft, but I think they're all outstanding.
I used to race many years ago, but we never did stunts like that then. And I still managed to end up in the hospital quite often! Makes me cringe watching those guys.
Great work! |

Thanks Ken. It was my first time seeing anything like that; It was incredible! I've done some crazy things in my life but nothing like that!
I did use Neat Image on these pics. Don't have any experience with that either. I'll play with it some more. Thanks for your comments.
Anyone else?

Just a bump so I can get some input from the "day people". Thanks. |

really well done. i like the backdrop, to make the viewer imagine just how high the bike is.

very nice pics. your know maybe you could zoom out a bit, use a tripod and make a sequence. if your camera can do it.

Lucas, thats a good idea. Have 3 or 4 shots and put them together in photoshop to make it look like a multiple exposure? Maybe I'll give that a try to see how it looks. Thank you all for your comments.
Anyone else have any comments?

Lucas, thats kind of what I thought you were talking about. How did you do that? I don't really know any of the "tricks" yet. |

very cool shots. Especially good since this was your first time shooting such an event. |

Nice shots. In shots like these, I tend to like it when there is a "little ground" in the shot for scale. Other than that they are very good.

Nice composition on these - the rider is well positioned in the frame (not too forward). Interesting looking at the various positions the rider is in. Fun set...keep it up!
