Type in your phone number on google...no dashes. It shows where you live and 3 maps how to get there.

I am glad I dont have too many ex's.

You can even do cell phones ...oh my.

Cool. My name's not listed, but it has the right address.

I think you do use dashes but not the () and probably only in the US but I'm not sure..

Here try this one too: People search

Part of what I do for a living is illustrate maps for real estate advertisements in the Washington DC metro market. Whoohoo, do I know how to party.

Anyway, I find it annoying that Google Maps block the higher levels of detail of their satellite images of the downtown Washington area. I can only assume that it is to prevent terrorists from using the information to expedite their evil plots.

It's annoying to me because Google is NOT the ONLY source of detailed satellite imagery, but it is the only one I've found that's immediately available and free, and it's one I use constantly. As if terrorists are so stupid that they wouldn't just go buy an ADC map of the area.

They are making sure their butts are covered in case something does ever happen they can say they didn't give details. It is crazy though since you can get the info from many different sources and probably in much better detail.

You might want to note, that there is a link to click on to have your number excluded from this particular search service. Once you make use of it, you don't have to worry.

Seems kind of defeatist though. Here are a couple of other ways a person can find you:

//switchboard.com/
//anywho.com/

It's really hard to be anonymous if you have a listed number.

I typed in my phone number and got...

Wrong name
Wrong city
Wrong map from google
Wrong map from yahoo
No map from Mapquest

So, for me at least, let the ex's and terrorists find me through this. :)
