we did a shoot yesterday for an album cover and promotional materials...it was a fairly intensive session and quite hefty gear wise with 7 flash heads and 6hmi575 frenels being used.
here's a idea of the studio set-up:
Photography by myself for P&P image factory
Art Direction: Steeve Henry for Produkt house
Makeup: Mahvish
Hair: (sorry for now....I seem to have missplaced the crew chart)
Craft services: The Denis
Properties manager: Eliott Smith for Produkt house
Deck carp: (tba)
Mangagement: Raul Cuza for Mango Music world |

woah crazy. i saw some videos about glamour photography and all the photographers used were one or two lights and a ring flash mounted on the camera. do you use one of those ringlights?

ring lights are great for facial close-up shots but totally useless eleshwere as the light is broad and un-controlled. in this case it was a "scene" where the artist was only slightly brighter than the set.
so Ringlighs yes...but not for these shots.
