I'm seriously considering to buy a D70 / D70s very soon.. i'm just wondering if anyone here using reverse lens for macrophotography ever got some moire problems with insects' eyes cells??

here's an example of a closeup i took with my coolpix 2500: //www.deviantart.com/deviation/20890943/

i mean for this type of photography, will i have to deal with moire problems, because i know that the D70 has moire in some situations..

thank you very much for any help & advices.

Here's mine with a 105 macro and a 28-80 zoom reversed. I never had anything except crystal clear images with the 105, just cost.

Is that the kind of lens reversing you're talking about, or are you talking about the on body reversed lenses? I'm guessing that the latter would be better in all respects including moire.

If that's a lens you can manually change aperture on, if you mount it backwards and use stop down metering, you can get about 2:1 - 1:2 magnification through the range.
