I've been looking at getting another monitor to accompany the one I have now. I currently have a Viewsonic G90FB and I enjoy it, but I've heard so much about the LaCie Electron 19" Blue IV. Has anyone compared these two monitors? Would it be worth the money to go ahead and get the LaCie, or should I just get another Viewsonic? Is there much of a difference in quality between the two?

you can't really go wrong with either one. I've seen refurbished LaCie's for about the same price as the viewsonics...but i'm wary of picking a monitor online.

I have to see them in person. If you are really itching to spend more $$, you should also look at the viewsonic professional series.

Are you going to run dual monitors from the same system? You will also want to think about your video card options.

Yeah, I'll be running dual monitors. My graphics card supports it althought I am planning on buying a new computer also.

the viewsonic is good, and so is LaCie, you might want to check out the Apple and the Dell LCD as well, I have the 23" Apple and it´s one of the best I have seen.

i used to have a apple and a dell[sharp, or pro or whatever they called it] LCD hooked up to the same system, they were both beautiful. The high-end Dell LCDs probably use the same LCD screen as the Apple.
