I was driving home yesterday from a nice day at the waterpark and ran upon this overturned log truck. This is by far the worst accident I have ever seen and I just had to share a few shots. Only wish I could have submitted to the newspaper or something but I was exhausted by the time we got all the way home.

Were you on an overpass or something to get this angle? Looks like you were out and about...not stuck in the car.

Yeah I sure was on an overpass. I stopped along with a few others as soon as I saw what was going on. Most of these were shot through a fence as well.

We had this happen here in Virginia about a month ago...had the road closed down for I think about a day and a half. They had to remill an entire section of interstate. Talking MAJOR backups throughout the entire region.

No. They are ground into sawdust, some tree sap added and they are baked into crakers called "Soylent Woodies" ;-)

Those darn truckers think they can park anywhere.

I like the third shot the best, but I think a paper might prefer the fourth for the wider view.

A log truck flips about every other month on US 84 here in southwest Alabama. What was that movie?

Soylent Green.
