I need some ideas as far as what to buy for supplemental lighting. I'm not talking about flashes or anything right now, but just some reflectors of some sort. Any ideas? They would be used mostly outdoors for portraits. I have seen some that are white/translucent, and I assume this means it would also work to diffuse harsh light for like a macro of a flower during the middle of the day. Is that right? All comments and suggestions welcome.

Thanks!

I've just ordered a five-in-one kit. A diffusor with two double-sided reflectors. A bit more portable than separate reflectors.

Where did you get that from, and what was the cost?

Got it at an online auction for something like $60. A new set costs around $100 here in Sweden.

I bought a 5 in 1 on ebay for $36 with shipping. It was great! It is really big, it is round and 48" which is great for all types of shots.
