I can't tell you how entertained I am by the comments I am getting on my submission. Even though my current score is lower than my last two, I am enjoying this challenge WAY more. I HATED my submission, and when my wife looked at it she just stared for about ten minutes, cocking her head and saying, "Hmmmm..."

Many people are asking if there were other variations and I can tell you there were, nearly 70 of them - nearly identical. I'll post the link after the judging is closed. ;)

I really am glad people are taking part in the comments, and it has convinced me to comment also! Keep it up!

I have been happy with most of the comments I have received as well. Some of them are constructive... I posted a comment for every photo this time. All of them!

I'm really glad people are commenting too - although I've had about 148 votes and only 23 comments. The comments are pretty useful this time
around, picking up on the flaws I'd seen but had been too lazy to go back and reshoot because of. I'll not be so lazy in future :)

It is also interesting to see the huge difference in what people like/ don't like. Some say 'sparse and boring' others say 'great use of negative space'. Some like stark, others find high key too bright...

Developing your visual language really is required to make good comments, hopefully trying to critise other people's work helps to learn this sort of thing too. So the people writing the comments gain from doing it as well a the person being commented upon
