It seems recently there have been lots of pictures, especially in the current challenge, that use models, some of these look professional.. do photographers actually pay them?? and if so, is it worth it just for a free, no prizes competition??
(there is a particular photo this week, I think you know the one, which would of been costly had it used professional models)..

I think that some of the photos aren't JUST taken for the challenge. That's what I think anyway, I could be wrong. I know I wouldn't spend an arm and a leg if I didn't have some other reason for the shot other than just the challenge.

Maybe the guy has a lot of sisters. :)
Some of them do look like professional models but who knows. I know most of the pictures of men are NOT.

Many members have beautiful partners/ friends who model for freeeeeeeeee!

| Personaly, when I see an interesting opertunity I just go up to strangers and ask if they would mind if I'd take there picture. |

| I agree with Heather. Some people have opportunities to take shots at work. They might have models to work with (and sometimes even nicer cameras to use). Some other photographers exchange their services for the right to use the photos. |
