It's not much, but it's a start. Here is the first of the moon shots.
Many more (and better)to follow.

Lunar Eclipse 1

Here are some additions:

I was forced to chase it down the street. Every minute or so, after I took a shot, I was forced to move my set up because it kept hiding behind trees that line my street. This one worked out well:
Lunar Eclipse 2

Lunar Eclipse 3
Lunar Eclipse 4

Great pics Mario.
Clouded out here. British weather is $%£%.

Great shots Mariomel and Mavik! Right now in CA (9:40pm) the moon is about 20 degrees off the horizon and looks to have about 40% of the surface covered with Sun light. Has the nice orange glow like in your shots.

I can't get a picture right now because there are a bunch of trees obscuring it, but I may try later.

Thanks Chris! :) It didn't turn red here for us.

I don't have a great zoom, but here is what the lunar eclipse looked like here in Northern Utah:

By the way, great shots all! Mavrik, it was fun to see the documentation of the various stages. I just gotta get me a telescope with a camera mount! I like this kind of stuff enough to make it worth it!

I don't have a telescope mount either! :( I have an Oly C720 with 8x optical and a 1.85x telephoto lens. :)

hehe

Very nice David! I like your use of the neg space. Good composition with the city lights down at the bottom.

Great to see the eclipse. Thanks guys! No eclipse visible here in Asia, otherwise would have like to try it myself. Keep the pix coming :)

This is what it looked like in Monterrey, Mexico. I pulled over the side of the highway to take these shots.

And this was the result of a cop appearing out of nowhere and startled me as he asked what the h... was I doing.

Lol, I like the result too. Jenarom, what were the time exposure and aperture settings for those pix?

Ooops! I've updated them. It was f2.4 and 2 seconds.

Hope I did this right.

Lunar Eclipse

Hey it worked. Just had to try it. So this is my effort at photographing a Lunar Eclipse.

This is funny I put a pair of binoculars in front of my lens to get this shot.

Wow! This is fun seeing everyone's lunar picts! I hope our British and Scottish and Icelandic friends get lots of interesting shots of the SOLAR eclipse taking place at the end of the month!

I kept Isaac up too late to try and get some shots...combination of air and light pollution, plus very limited zoom, gives pretty mediocre results. But I think it's enough to tell what's going on...

Nice shots all - thanks for sharing. We were cloudy and rainy here (and I was tucked up in bed, fast asleep :-)

Thank you for all the pictures.
I woke up 2 hours after the event to a very ugly grey sky so I don't think I missed much here.
