Puppies, kids, flower macros, little kittens, sunsets...
Get it out of our system! LOL. Any photo that makes you say "awwww" or "blaaa...how discustingly cute".
Maybe we'll take so many photos of cuteness that we wont ever want to take another one.
Yeah right.
Maybe after this garbage challenge, those "cute" photos wont look so bad. :)
I'm just playing, but It's an interesting thought.

Most people insert some level of cuteness into every challenge anyway... there's nothing wrong with that either...

Hey, I agree, Heather....I would very much go for cuteness. I raise my hand and wave vigorisly!! Also with this kind of challenge, if the picture makes you go awwww when it pops up on the screen, it's an automatic 6....then you score higher for technical merit and origionality. Whatcha think??

I am completely happy with cute pictures. I know some don't like 'em much, or get fed up with too many, but I can't get enough.
Here is a picture that starts out cute enough. But please look in the bottom right hand corner...lol I actually just noticed that someone "else" was looking on.

I don´t think there is anything wrong in "cute" shots. It´s up to me to take whatever I want and for others to give high scores on whatever they want. It will be interesting to see the result from this weeks challenge, because I think that the "cute" garbage-shots will do very well. My shot is a "cute" one and I know that it is getting rather high score. - Round 7 so far. So go for "cute" ones if you like to!
(Excuse my English I´m from Sweden - it´s not easy to print down what you´re thinking in a foreign language) |

First of all, I didn't say there was anything wrong with cute shots. If I hated them, you think I would want to look at them all week? no. I did say WE, me included. I was just realizing in every other thread there is some mention of the cute shots being "cliche". The comment about the "cute photos not looking so bad" was directed towards the people who don't like the cute shots. Not saying that I personally thought they looked bad.
I would LOVE a cuteness challenge. I have LOTS of cuteness to photograph. I have a 2 year old, 2 dogs, and a flower garden. I say Bring it on! Compete for cuteness! I might actually place high!
I just think we need SOMETHING after this garbage challenge. LOL

I WISH I took it this week...sighhhh but I didn't. I still don't have anything. I think it might be my turn to sit this one out.... :-( I have one idea but I don't think I'll have time to work it out. Although I DO have 27 hours and eleven minutes...ya never know.

Heather, Don't worry, I don't think anyone took you to mean YOU didn't like cuteness. Of course you do...lol And yep it sure sounds like you've got lots of it around you. UNFAIR advantage...lol :-)
