| or even just local meeting place... coffee shop, restraunt.... though the idea of sitting in my local doing "research" has a nice ring to it.... |

| I think this would be fun. Would be a good twist on "night shot", and would give people the experience to shoot in low light. |

This is the beginning of summer here in Vancouver, so most pub/bar activities take place on the outdoor patios and balconies these days. Not too dark at all!

Some of us don't frequent such places for many reasons, sometimes religious ones.

Exactly what I was doing this weekend...

It is getting brighter here in Iceland every weekend, so it´s not as much of a challenge regarding lighting ;)

| I love this challenge suggestion! I can think of several great places to do "research". Seriously, I think this could lend itself to a lot of creativity, and it's guaranteed to produce a more "human" set of entries, rather than loads of landscapes & still lifes... not that I'm bashing landscapes & still lifes, my last two entries have been a landscape & a still life, in that order! |

then those people will just have to skip the challenge :)
i really dont think we can start limiting challenge ideas based on whether a minority of people can or cant shoot for it.. "we cant do a flowers challenge, it's winter, etc"
I think it's a great idea btw.. my main street has alot of nice terraces.. though it's not quite warm enough for them yet.
