And they're all useless. -_- Except for one of them, none include feedback.

And the thing is, they're not wrong, but they're all the SAME comment "Where's the circle?" "I really don't see the circle here." ect.

Yes, I took a picture that probably doesn't fit the challenge very well, and really should have used the title better to try and connect it to the challenge, but gosh, I am getting really really really tired of the same comment, over and over, and them being USELESS.

I really would love some critique on the picture, even if it doesn't fit the challenge well...actuall feedback would be great. -_-

/rant

Feel free to ignore this, I'm just ranting because it's my first challenge in awhile and even though I knew this was going to happen, I was hoping to get some constructive feedback. =_= I hope this is okay to be in this forum...but if it needs to go in rants, that's fine. *shrugs* It's been awhile since I've been active in the forums here.

You'd probably get less of the same comment if others knew what your other comments were. Unfortunately (or maybe not), we can not see them when we vote.

Don't feel bad. I'm getting the same thing on Macro V -- "Beautiful picture, lovely tones, love the setting, but it's definately not a macro"... it's what you get when you take a little bit too much artistic license with the theme.

hmmm its what you get when you use a challenge to post an image which doesn't portray the challenge? :-P

Well, it doesn't not meet the challenge really, it just isn't obvious.

"Take a photograph where this basic shape is clearly shown as a key element. This may be a circular object, or a group of items forming a circle."

Which I guess, it doesn't follow the "clearly" part, but, it is a key element, and that's where I should have used my title to work with it to make it more clear.

*shrugs* Oh well.

welcome back to the deep end of dpc, ann! sounds like you're getting hit with the double-whammy of not hitting the voter of the head with meeting the challenge, and being in a large challenge where the voters don't feel they have the time to comment further.

you'll probably be able to get more constructive comments after the challenge.

don't let this deter you. turn your scores off and focus on the other challenges, or adding more fun stuff to your portfolio...

I got a comment that my photo is the kind of image that doesn't get many comments (according to the commenter), so he was commenting. Ironically enough, it has received more comments than any of my other challenge entries - 24 and counting.

At least your getting something, My score is terrible but I only have 2 comments. I went with a pic I really liked so I don't know what's wrong with it and no one is commenting.

I have 6 comments which sure doesn't seem like alot. My scores aren't that good either. I was hoping to at least get up to a 6. I really like the photo though, and I'm learning, so I'm not complaining, just bummed.

^_^ Yeah, I really didn't hit them on the head with it, lol, not at all, and it's taken the two people that have done constructive comments to "find" the circle. As I said, I messed up on the making it "clear" so I'm not too upset. ^_^

Not to mention that I know it's a good (great?) picture, it's just not perfectly fitting to this challenge. ^^;;

I am eager to post it after the challenge and get some critique, especially with some other pictures from my first two paid photoshoots, but sadly, I let my subscription run out, so no more portfolio for me. :(

I'll be able to comment further when I know which picture is yours :-)

I'm all for being different, my metal entry (and even my obsolete entry) show this, the latter being executed a little poorly, but you needed to read the comments to get the whole idea behind the shot (which at the time of voting you couldnt).

Sooooo... give me a poke once the voting has finished, and i'll leave some feedback!

Well my current Macro is my second highest commented photo, currently running at 70 comments. Which is going to give me a problem matching that with comments from me. Nice problem to have though ;-)

I am getting alot of comments that are somewhat offensive. People questioning my motives with my entry. Amazing how people can assume so much negativity without hearing the story behind it. They also seem to judge YOU by your entry. In the 'circles' challenge, its just a photo, not a window to my torchured soul....LOL

Anyone else getting negative comments?

I had some that thought I didn't meet the challenge - but here we go again. This is a totally objective science. I just wish people wouldn't get so pissed off about it. I mean, please, it's just a photographic rendering!!!

GET READY FOR MY FAMILY SHOT> LOL
