Well, I can't seem to figure out how to make a noose, circle impaired I guess.

It appears that they've broken down the points available for voting into 5 categories. So a 0/2 means they didn't like your composition and a 2/2 means they thought it fit with the challenge. with a 1/2 being average? then you add all the points together for the final.
This is very similar to the process, though more on the technical side) I've used (below), from the sound of the comments here I'm taking it that you either don't understand or don't like it??? If it's not useful... why bother with this much even?
Base: 5
Technical: -2 to +2 (from Heck my kid could do that to WOW)
Subjective: -2 to +2 (how much do I like it)
Challenge: -2 (if you didn't meet the challenge, but I have to tell you WHY or smack myself upside the head.)
Total: 1-9 (a 10 would have to really knock my socks off)

I don't know if it is due to the number of entries but I will say this: I showed my photo to at least a dozen people not related to this site before entering. ALL of them, at the very first glance said the same thing "WOW!" Yet, it sits around a 5 here and I can see the shots that will be better will be unimaginitive and uncreative, as most of the entries are. |

Well it was better than mine on this scale. I guess I got a 4. What exactly is "sujective affinity?" Score has taken a nose dive this afternoon. |

nico_blue! i think i know which one is yours! if my comment says something like, "i wish i could see who you were because i'd favorite you" or something then say that's yours because i know that's your picture because that picture is awesome. i gave it a 10!

i have a feeling im getting a lot of 6's and a lot of 2s and 3s that drop me down :( i thought this was by far my best picture ever on this site. but apparently not.

I knew mine wouldn't place high, but it was a fun shot and some people really seem to like it. The hardcores won't appreciate it too much however.

Started this morning at 36/5.2 but I knew it wouldn't last.
Now it's 118/4.8 I think I my photo frightens the hell out a lot of people, LOL.
And I won't be able to check anymore, because I'm off for a couple of days for sheep inspections. I'm sitting out the next two challenges, I'm not a family-like girl and I don't do sport, or will a photo of me chasing some sheep do well?
