Ya.. I started out at 5.3 now im at 5.0 and as my points drop I tihnk I might throw this camera out the window :)
I was thinking my shot was at least a 5.5 or maybe a 6.
Some of the shots on numerous challenges look to be over PS'd. But not complaining, just wondering how much I can get away with. I always send it my photos as shot.. No editing in PS. Expect change brightness or sharpness. |

i was expecting alot of wow factor in this challenge....i was actually dissapointed with what i saw...anyone else think that alot of the photos were bland and uninspiring...i'm not saying all were but a large majority just didnt ring my bell...i'm going to go back through them al and resort as i always do maybe i just hadnt had enough coffee

Okay guys, I'm weak. The first 60 voters got to me. 4.2 to 4.5 or so.
I pulled my entry! I thought I was "saving face" but then I remembered the DQ's get tacked on at the end of all the submissions so everyone will get to see my humbling entry afterall. :( Oh, poor, poor me...lol! |

So is it as if you never even entered? Am I right? I think due to the overwhelming amount of photos, people are just randomly voting without really looking at each photo individually. My thoughts. Anyone else feels this way? |

Not exactly. It appears to everyone like you never even entered, but we track them and you cannot request DQ again on your own image, and if you are DQed again within the next 25 challenges, you face suspension. The suspension time increases with each further violation. I'm not positive about the length of suspension. It's in the rules if you wanted to check it out. |

I get the feeling that people are just glancing and voting this time ..My scores change so erratically... and only one comment in 65 votes???, I tend to agree with rikki11, overwhelming amount of 'circles' for everyone to take the time out to concentrate on their voting and leave comments..
P.S. Hey Marjo, hang in there...my scores are no better..who knows what will happen until next tuesday:) |

Yeah, it is a tedious process. I've gone back and reviewed and changed some of my scores today. But I guess as long as it all is what I really feel by the end day, then it's ok. I try not to be too impulsive with my scoring, but sometimes I think on it and go back and change.

Well, a bent line does not a circle make. Fireworks, in my opinion, are not circles. Parts of circles are not circles. The challenge was pretty easy - a circle! Not part of one, not one imagined in the part of the scene you can't see, not a squigly line. A circle.
That said...hovering around a 5. |

I have a circle. A complete circle. Not a squiggly line, not a firework, not a bent line. Not a flower, not an eye, not a tire. Its in focus too. Your score is blowing mine away. Go figure...

I started out around 6.5 average last night. I don't like the direction that it is going. Maybe it will turn around. The comments are all very, very positive.
