I work at home, and I spent the whole day sitting in front of my computer watching my obsolete score bounce up and down.

My fish died last night (Now I have more counter-space).

Hey, let's bust into those negative threads and post irrelevant happy thoughts!

That's the part that stinks, it had just poured and was still coming down some, so no cameras outside, something I'll try to keep burned in my memories!

Hope you got a photo or videotape of them doing that! They grow up ssssoooo fast and then you miss those days. I have 2 boys (BF has 3 kids) but I would of had a gaggle of kids if circumstances had been right. (You know...married, settled, etc) :)

I work at home too. Its great - no worries about people butting in on your commenting time. ;)
Sorry bout the fish - you can have mine - I'm waiting for 4 more to die then I can get lizards. Much more photogenic. For me at least...

Yes. She always drank all the coffee & didn't put on a new pot. Today was the first time in a long time I've had my afternoon coffee without having to put it together. The drawback is, I'm the one that's going to end up doing all the interviews for her replacement.

Hmmmm, what qualities shall I look for?

Thanks for the offer. I really liked that fish, but I'm glad to be relieved of the responsibility. I live in an RV and he took up valuable counter space. It was also a constant vigil to make sure his tank was the right temperature (which is how he died). I like lizards too. Around here they are easy pets because they live outside and I don't have to feed them!

Can I add an embarrassing thing I did yesterday?

I spent more than 1/2 an hour watching/photographing two japanese beetles getting it on in a hollyhock bloom. What do I tell people I did during that time? The most frustrating part is that bumblebees are very attracted to hollyhock-they kept flying into that flower and flying into the camera lens and flying into me. I got so frustrated I gave up. AND I didn't get one shot good enough for the challenge!

I will trade a dozen of them for strikeslips gators if the offer is still open?

I felt good today because I had enough money in my checking account to be able to help someone when they needed it. Things have been so up and down lately that I can not always say that.
