Hi
Does anybody know that if it is possible to comment on a photo which is
submitted for a challenge, after voting has started.
I submitted a photo for obsolete, but am unable to reply for the comments made by the critiques.

| I usually wait until the challenge ends before replying. Remember though, this is a critique site so try not to challenge any comments made, sure you may not agree but try and see it from there eyes. |

Hmnn .. Thought there was a way of ding it..
I think i saw the photographers comments in between in some of the posts..

To comment on a comment left on a challenge entry you have to wait until the voting is over.
During a challenge you can send a private message to the commentor. Doing so to try and change their vote is usually frowned on. |

You can't add any comments to your entry while voting is active. After voting is over you can respond to comments via the 'quote' button (just like in forums) or create your own comment.
THe challenge entry can hold comments in the details section prior to voting (SC encourage this to show details of any post-processing). These comments will not be seen by anyone until voting is over.
You can also update the details section and add comments there after the challenge is over as well by opening your challenge entry photo using your portfolio then updating the details.

The system is set up not to allow you to make a comment on your own entry while the voting period is in process. After that you can comment on your image. I would wait to PM a commenter until the challenge has ended for a couple of reasons 1). Anonymity and 2). some people don't like people PMing them during the challenge.
