I do a lot of band photography and a band is asking me to take promotional shots of them tomorrow. They want a back blackground and the only thing i know of that would be good for this is a black backdrop. I have no idea how much that costs and dont have access to it before tomorrow obviously so does anyone know if black fabric would work? a big sheet of black fabric? please get back to me asap.. Thanks tons!

Buy yourself a cotton king size black bed sheet and a few thumb tacks to hold it up works for me ,.

i use bedsheets for nearly all my backdrops, black white colours, textures etc. wide range, easy access and affordable. cant really go wrong

might want to make sure you have and iron or a steamer on hand, else you'll be doing a lot of post processing clean up work on that sheet. :-)
