Yes...is that a bad thing?

I got right up in it's grill, it took a little bit to get the focus good, but yeah, that's my camera...I like my camera...

it IS a moth!!! Little known fact...or maybe not ;-)

BUT...moths have feather like antennae. Butterflies have straight antennae with small bulbs (or sometimes not I think) on the end.

but moths have the feathery ones, as does the insect in your photo!

By the way, GREAT shot!!! I wish I had that kind of zoom on my Sony. I've always been happy with the clarity of the lense...just wish I had more telephoto action to get those great insect shots.

I think your right ladyhawk...I think it was just way too hot today (90) and he didn't want to fly...I must have taken 12 shots of this thing...the dots kept drawing me in...LOL...Critque away everyone...I need to nail and hone my skills down so when I get a real camera (I still love my Sony) I can get lots better shots! Thank you in advance one and all for your thoughts, good or bad. =)

Heck no! That is a great shot with any camera. I was just surprised to see the photo and knowing which camera you have from the other thread you posted.

You will be most-dangerous around here if you get a really good camera. I think you'll make too many enemies with your unbeatable challenge entries, so I'm gonna have to recommend you stick with the camera you got at least for another few years. ;-P
