Any and all comments welcome, I put this together and would like to know what you think. Mainly on the content not so much the layout or navigation

Thanks!

Many of the photos are of good enough quality to make a person consider your services, however, it seemed to me (maybe it's just me) like most of the photos were of the same people, maybe even your relatives? Not a good idea if you're hoping people will take your web site seriously. It makes it seem like it's your "Family and Friends Candids" website.

I have to agree with briphoto. Also, I think your studio shots are much stronger than your others. Obviously in studio you have more control over your lighting and whatnot. I'm not really qualified to critique but that's what this amateur sees.

I'd suggest you put thin borders around the photos.

Also - test your site with both IE & Netscape - two versions back. I'm getting error msgs with IE 6.0 although the pages are displayed.

What's with the sh#% brown? I almost went no further. The yellow writing could induce seizures. If the first impression is unattractive you won't get far. Okay, now I'll go back and look at the pictures.

Your portraits are really really great - I'd separate out the scenary shots. Also about the 5th page, the one called evKathMikey took forever and a half to load - Remember about us poor folk on dial up. Netscape, whichever old version I'm using, worked fine.

I'd agree with most of what's been said so far. If you're using your website to advertise your services, it should contain your absolute best portfolio selection - nothing to make somebody think twice about hiring you. Some of the shots are really great studio shots, but some do look more like snapshots (e.g. hayweb2 - some of the head is chopped off and there's some vignetting on the corners). If you also specialise in sports photography you should try and get a sports shot or two in there as well.

Good luck! It's never easy leaping into the unknown :)

Also, while I think of it - don't forget the titles of the pages. They're not very descriptive, to say the least. Except those that are titled 'HOT PANTS' :)

I also would recommend that you change the colors on your pages. Try to use darker text so if a customer wants to print out the page they will get clear information.

Also, I would lose the 3d borders. IN addition to putting up fewer images and as others have said, only your very best ones of varying subjects so it doesn't come off as family photo album.

This is a javascript error that seems to be coming from the geocities code they add to your pages. You may want to check your setup.
