Have you ever wished you could fade the background to a certain hue and have it seamlessly join with the main subject? Here is a project for you photographers to try. Take a first surface mirror or a thin mirror(like in an old side rear view car mirror) and cut a small egg-shaped one inch circle out of it. Attach the mirror with three glued on black wires to a rubber lens shade so that the mirror is angled at forty-five degrees. Cut a semi-circular notch out of the side of the rubber sun shade so that the lens can see what the mirror sees, sideways. The area around the mirror will photograph what is straight ahead. Because the edges of the mirror are completely out of focus, the forward picture and mirror picture will blend seamlessly. Of course, you can do this digitally, but you can't use it for dpchallenge. The effect looks like a sketched in water color.
