I'm looking for a web hosting site for my boss. We are using bigstep right now but it's not really specific to photographers. Hoping to get some input.

What do you guys use? What do you like better?

Just FYI, this is the site I designed for him about 4 years ago...

I'm not sure what you are looking for as far as being specific to photographers. I currently use BlueHost (//www.bluehost.com).

I looked at their website recently and now they are offering 4 GB of space and 100 GB of transfer a month. It's about $7.00 a month. They have a lot of built in scripts but since I'm a web prorammer, I do all the programming myself. I don't have any other affiliation with them other than being a happy customer.

Other good hosting companies...

I guess I didn't explain but what I'm looking for is not just a host but a design feature.
Bigstep is one or my boss had just suggested Folio Link.
Does this make more sense?

//www.icdsoft.com is what I use.

//www.pensacolapoker.com
//www.gfrphoto.com
//www.crescent-studio.com
//www.ofshellandstone.com
//www.greatdaehnrealty.com

all hosted there. All fast and smooth.

If you are trying to get something that helps you design photo albums/pages you can use PHP Scripting called Coppermine

//www.pensacolapoker.com/CPG/ I am testing it out now at this link. It allows you to upload via html add comments, even allow for users to sign up and favorite, comment, and rate images; if you wish to have members.

//www.atgig.com is also a FREE host company if you are looking for cheap.
