On May 21 we had the annual Mayors Ride. This year we had more bikes than ever. Over 1500 it was a fun day for all.

I added some runway shots.

For those that don't know: EAch year in Terre Haute, In. The city sponsors a motorcycle "run", starting at the local Harley shop and ending at the far end of the "International" airport. The riders are escorted by police and when they get to the airport they go down the runway as fast as possible, some upwards of 150 mph. Quite a show. The town was nearly cut in half by bikes this year. Sofap (& me too)is currently getting special privileages by police due to a project we are working on and was chaffered by an officer throughout the run. Lotsa fun.

This is done for charity, by the way, this year I beleive it was for the Humane Society. Last year it was either MS or MD (dystrofy)

Looks like my kind of fun. Wow that would be cool. I love speed but save it for the middle of Montana or Wyoming. A runway would really be fun to try. Nice pixs.
