If it were not for that "Update Button" addiction, I wouldn't have even entered this one.. Does anyone know where there is a local chapter of "UBA"? (Update Buttons Anonymous)

| The third person to vote on mine gave it a 1 and dropped the score from a 5.5 to a 4... it's not a great picture, but it doesn't deserve a 1. It's in focus and fits the theme. No comment, either. I only give 1s to REALLY terrible pictures. |

| Same thing happened to me I was at 5.6 and dropped to a 5.1 within a vote or two. |

| i went from a 4.5 with 2 votes to a 3.75 with 4 votes and one comment. the comment wansnt related to the photographic aspect of the picture and usually commenters are some of your higher votes. i think i got 1-bombed too!!!! |

| I just dropped from a 5.5 to 4.6 same thing, it's really childish, but it's going to happen regardless, you just have to rely on the adults on the site to prosper over the children |

Looks like we all got one bombed, 5 to 3 on third vote.
Not sweating it, it will come out in the wash. As for the number one voter, what goes around comes around. Life cannot be pleasant for someone who's joy is to cause others grief.

Can't the administrators do something? I mean, there can't be more than a few dozen people voting right this second and apparently someone just went through and gave at least 7 of us 1's...

Thats why I hate watching at the very begining of a contest...the scores just go topsy tervy so much.
But what did I do, watch the first few votes.....so I will check it out in the morning.

| honestly i gont think that i have ever given a 1 and i think that it is really immature that someone goes around and does this. i understand that i am NOT a photographer and NOT the best voter. (not 100% conssistant; dont vote enough) but if i score you low or high i try to leave a comment explaining my decision. should there be a rule that requires you to leave a comment if the score is below a 3 / above a 7? or at least something that can point out who 1-bombed us? just a thought. |

Yes, but, on the other hand, he did you a favor. Now you can watch your score go up towards its eventual value rather than a high start where it goes down ;)
It's possible that whomever did it is probably having a good time watching people react in this thread, so it's best not to acknowledge it. |

I just got shat on by the person with ONE brain cell. Surely the Admins can do something? I don't care about it evening itself out in the end - the fact that people put time and effort into their images only to have an ameoba stick two of its paws up at us makes me bloody angry.
You should only be allowed to give anything below a 3 WITH a comment...that way you are accountable and we can see who the person sharing a brain cell with the rest of his creepy crawly friends actually is.
