The second one is my favorite. I like the depth of field; It draws my attention to the foreground butterfly, but leaves good context of surroundings and second butterfly.

I enjoyed the composition of your first, but it just isn't sharp enough. It looks like a focus problem more than a sharpening adjustment.

Hi Annee - Hope you don't mind...I added a minor pop in contrast (+7), dropped brightness (-2), and minor noise reduction to these. The contrast was the first thing that came to mind when I saw them. Nice compositions by the way...I like them both.

I'll be dragging a camera along to Lake Winnipesaukee (sp?) this summer for family vacation (I noticed you're from my wife's home town). Beautiful country in your neck of the woods! ;^)

I actually just moved to Salem in September. My finacee and I bought our first house. I am originally from MA. Work in Boston in fact. I love the lake, we are up there a lot, fiancee is a BIG fisherman! lol

You can't go to that lake and NOT fish! We usually rent a little rowboat for the week...

Warning! Cheesy scanned/cropped film images from pre-DPC days! ;^)
