I have been noticing, now that i have been a member for several months, that alot of forum topics are repeating themselves, because as new members arrive and want to learn, they start asking the same questions over and over again. So I prepose a new item in the learn menu with basic lessons in photography. Talk about everything from the basic rules of photography (rule of thirds, leading lines, negative space, etc.) to basics like aperature and shutter speeds, differences between microdrives and compact flash, color profiles, and everything related to photography (these were just reacurrances I have seen). We could set it up so that we have a html template that we use for the lessons and photographers could submit their lessons with all the photos and the template html file to be added to the server. There could be a submit button in the lessons menu that ftp: the lessons to the server and can be validated before being posted to the site (sorry site council, I hate giving you more work).

We could also have different sections for lessons on how to use your camera, photoshop tricks, and things like studio shooting and macro. I could go on and on. I just feel we have such a vast amount of knowledge with all the photographers we have on the site that spend alot of time on the forums helping us who are still learning. So why not we spend the time to create a reference point so people dont have to repeat themselves. Plus people can submit new info not previously seen on this site (especially in photoshop) and maybe some of you hardened pros might learn something new. I know I would be willing to put some time in to make some lessons.....
