I have worked in the past with Adobe basic photoshop, The programs that come with the camera, So after buying a good digital slr I dicided to get Photoshop 7, well the problem is that I work a lot and don't want to spend all my time reading this huge book, and then trying to figure out what thier saying. Is there any good book on photoshop 7 that really explain the program.

This is only (recent) personal experience and is by no means truth for all, simply for me...

I have for quite some time tried to learn Photoshop through online help pages and through books and over a couple months of tinkering I picked up a few things but for the most part the books did not help, and they certainly were not quick.

Recently however I started on a photoshop class and in just the first class I learned more than I was able to pick up myself in months. The second class proved fruitful also. Also by looking at what is coming in the class I expect to pick up even more and all those books I bough are starting to make more sense.

If you could find even a one day photoshop class I would recommend that as a first step, likely cost about the same as a book, well a thick book.
