Works for me. Was up to about a 5.8 something, but this is a score i can live with.

If your score moves now, it is not my fault.
I have voted on all the entries. I gave a few 4s, a few 8 and up too. Mostly 5's. Only 2 really jumped out at me. None were all that bad, and only 1 or 2 had tenous connections to the challenge. overall pretty good.

Done voting. I gave 13 scores of 7 or higher. Now for comments. Good luck all.

Woo-hoo. :-).

I've got two going at 6+ at the moment, moods and five. Five is in the high sixes as well, which is all the better. And four comments already. It looks like I'm going to break my 5.something run.

Very happy.

Edit: And one of the comments is from someone who's opinion/critique I really respect, so I'm even happier..

From experience, I know that Brad has a tough time behaving.. his lust for myself, at times, being evident. Now Brad.. do we have to send you to the time-out corner again?

The person with the score closest to a 5 wins this challenge, right!? RIGHT!? I mean, that's what I was going for when I shot mine!

This is my first challenge and because I thougt it was only 24 I did not take the time on this that I should have. So, that said my scores suck but I did not expect much different:

My entry in this challenge was purposely almost as simple as I could do. I strove to have as clean an image as I could muster, even if the image itself sucked. Then the comments started rolling in: out of focus in each one. I knew that was not so. So back to photoshop, to tweak the sharpening. Just a little was way too much. Then I noticed on the edit menu the fade option. I faded the over sharpening until Goldilocks, herself, would have cried for joy.

Fortunately, I found out in time to fade almost every adjustment I used for my Outside Looking In entry. I love that fade. If I had been using layers, then the fade control would have been right in my face.

What are you using to sharpen? Are you using "Filter" "Sharpen" or "Filter" "Unsharp Mask"?

I use Unsharp Mask and it is much better. But, I don't have to use it much now that I have learned to use a tripod, when I don't have one I set camera on something and use the timer button. I have lots of tricks to keeping a steady camera. Ask these folks if your picture was "soft" or out of focus. Because soft is when there is camera movement when you take the picture. Okay it is late and I ramble. good luck!
