Is it better to use the greyscale feature of the camera or just take the photo in color and then use and editor to convert to greyscale???
Does either way give a better quality print or does it matter? |

I shoot everything in color and then convert on the computer.. some images look good in color and b/w so it's nice to have them in both formats :)

Jim is right - I'd have to not have the colour version available.
Also, people use several techniques to convert to greyscale within image software, like Photoshop, that provide a lot more flexibility than a simple "convert to greyscale" type function. You might, for example, want to focus on the colours in a specific colour channel. It's difficult to explain, but there are several articles I have read which demonstrate the possible effects.
I say shoot in Colour and then consider greyscale in post-processing, although I'm biased because I prefer colour prints usually anyway.
