So, if you're done voting on the 1387 images, submitted your minimalism and jewelry ad shots, try this - take a self-portrait (new or existing), and use photoshop to advance your age by at least 20 years. Combine the before and after pics side by side into one 640px image and post the thumbnail / link here.

I already did mine awhile back. I'll post it when I see some others. I have a blue ribbon I couldn't give away in this other thread, so I'll give it each participant.

This is really a fun thing to do if you've never tried it (which I haven't, but I did read a really cool tutorial on it in a magazine a while back...)

There are some really great examples of aged celebrities at Worth1000. Check them out in the galleries on this page:

Is there a tutorial on how to do this? I'd like to try it.

Here is a copy of the original article I read. (You nead to buy the tutorial now online to see it all. It looks pretty inexpensive though at 99p at worth it)

If you Google "photoshop aging tutorial" or something similar, you'll pobably find other tutorials as well.

I still think the Worth1000 links below provide some of the best and most creative examples.

Wow - you got that right. Put's my work to shame.

I borrowed this example from that site to show what I had in mind:
