OK, there's an Idol thread so I had to start this one because I've been totally addicted to The Amazing Race since the very beginning. No one at work watches it, so I don't have anyone to talk about it with.

Anyone here an Amazing Race addict? Please? :D

The wife & I watch religiously!

I think Rob is very entertaining, he was my fav on Survivor.

The wife said she wouldn't have shaved her head.

I'm dying to apply to be on the show. I'm wearing down one of my co-workers, but next season is going to be family teams of 4. There's another regular season scheduled after that....

The Amazing Race is a reality show in the U.S. (it might be in other countries...I don't know) where teams of 2 race literally around the world.

It's just a really well-done program. The thing I like about it is that it's an actual race and there's not a lot of scheming and backbiting like on other programs...

Yes, do tell. It's the only show my husband and I really watch -- been fans from the begining (and like others - none of our co-workers watch it)

Well, I've known Amber for several years (I'm also the webmaster of Amber-Brkich.com, which had 1.1 million hits yesterday ALONE!).

There's not a lot of detail I can honestly share at this point, but I have also known one member of another team for a few years, and I have gotten to know his teammate over the past month or so. I'll share more when I can... CBS keeps everyone very tight-lipped about EVERYTHING, and I don't want to get them or myself in trouble...

yes I'm totally addicted. I've watched every episode. My grandma is also an addict of the race and it gives us something to talk about.
I was happy to see Lynn and Alex go last night, they drove me crazy. Maybe if they had concentrated more on their race instead of insuring that Rob and Amber didnt win, they might have done better.
I love Meredith and Gretchen. I can still see her in my mind in that cave with her face covered in blood, what a trooper!!! and they do not speak to each other like the other couples.
I love Rob and Amber, only because I lived in beantown for a while and love the accent, and the arrogance. I am also a huge survivor addict. I don't want them to win, even though they are my favorite team. I think I would like to see the old couple win, but it won't happen, so I will settle for Euchean (sp) and Joyce, I absolutely hate that stupid Miss Whatever who is with the POW. Did you see the previews of next week where she said he shrugged commitment by being a POW and getting out of the military early? Like he planned for it or liked it.

You're looking at a devoted follower here. I have my niece here from Oz visiting and she has to watch it religiously too. :-). I was happy Meredith and Gretchen made it, she should never have sat in that blasted elephant. Joyce looked great when her head was shaved, what a brave lady. As for Miss Beauty Pageant, wasn't she just lovely (not) when she accused her man of getting out of the military just because he was a P.O.W. Rob and Amber, isn't he a lawyer, and he sure knows the tricks of how to bribe. Did I say that?? :-))
