The first picture had no strange fog in it and the second

anyone has an explanation for this please do explain
1) No one was smoking.
2) There was no sun light it was very dark in there I used a flash.
3) The place where i took this photo is called seaview on Staten Island New York has been abandoned since 1960 was a Sanitarium for mentally ill people they also kept tuberculosis patients here i have many photo's in my portfolio..please comment. would like to know if anyone else had a ghost or something like this show up in their pictures. Also feel free to post them on this forum.. Thanks ever one ...Toniann

You're shooting with flash. Something over there is reflecting flash back and flaring the lens; possibly broken glass... That would be my guess.

I do believe that there's a presence there. They say ghosts show up in technical devices. It looks like a stream of fog that is either coming out of the doorway or is entering it. Very spooky Toniann. I can't sleep tonight because of you. Thanks! LOL.

I can see a face lots of places when I want to, but where do you see it personally?

I honestly believe in ghosts, spirits, and angels, and even (think) I have been visited by a few before. Call me crazy, think I'm dumb, whatever, but I truly do believe in this stuff. I could tell you the specifics, if anybody's actually interested.

I believe in two things very strongly:

1. There are spirits all around us all the time. Even though I believe this, I have personally never seen one with my own eyes.

2. Except for specific body and lens combinations, cameras are designed to see and record light in pretty much the exact same way that our eyes do. If you saw a ghost and then took a picture of it, I would say that this is a ghost. But anything that shows up on a camera that you didn't see when you were taking the picture is *always* a light reflection or, more seriously, a mechanical problem that should be corrected before ruining any more of your shots. :-)

Interesting point of view... being that we heard soo many haunted stories about this place i kind of believed it .. it's very strange that all my other pictures came out sharp and clear ..
